General Practitioner
I am a general practitioner in private practice, who at times turns into a mother of three children and wife. My fields of expertise are general health, exercise medicine, concussion, health, psychology and well-being. I conducted research on concussion and have presented my research at a congress for Sports and Exercise Medicine in South Africa. I hold a MBChB degree from the University of Pretoria, Diplomas in Family Medicine, Child Health, Obstetrics and Mental Health, as well as a MBA and a Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise medicine. Originally from South Africa, I am a native speaker of Afrikaans and English with a smattering of Tswana.
I am dedicated to increasing the emotional and physical health, well-being and fulfillment of my patients. I want to make information on health and well-being available to people that strive to be in excellent health and control their health destiny. I not only want to motivate them, but also want to help them be healthier and solve the obstacles that makes achieving this difficult. My goal is to make people healthier, enjoying their life to the utmost!

I am a psychiatrist with more than 20 years experience. I graduated with MBChB with distinction in Psychiatry from the University of Pretoria in 1992 and did a Diploma in Obstetrics in 1995. I specialized in Psychiatry with MMed(Psych) with distinction in 2000. I regularly attend local and international conferences to ensure I am always updated on the latest knowledge in my field.
I have extensive experience in treating major depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar mood disorder, substance use disorders, schizophrenia, disorders of cognition such as dementia and ADHD.
My special fields of interest are the anxiety disorders, depression and bipolar mood disorder. I am especially interested in the integration of a person to become the most you can be. Therefore, breaking down the stigma around psychiatric illnesses by providing knowledge about all the different aspects of personal wellbeing. I believe in holistic care, involving psychopharmacology (medication), psychotherapy, physical, emotional, spiritual and occupational interventions to promote wellbeing.

Clinical Psychologist
I have been practicing clinical psychology for over two decades,my extensive experience has been my greatest teacher. I am especially interested in working with relationships, anger and personal development. Working with depression and anxiety disorders is also one of my greatest passions. I love helping, and it is imperative to me that a person who is hurting must get the right information, leading them on a healing path. I always set clear goals to determine our therapeutic path and often use cognitive therapy to attain these goals. My primary focus in therapy is to provide options, where a person might feel that there is no option available.
I hold master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Personal and Professional Leadership as well as a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
My motto in life is “life is full of cacti, but we don’t have to sit on it"!

I am a clinical psychologist with over two decades of experience in and commitment to mental health. Currently I specialize in Brainwork Recursive Therapy (trauma and grief), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (emotional dysregulation and risk management), Family Based Therapy (eating disorders), Neuro-Psychological Assessment, and Medico-Legal Assessments.
I thus stand at the intersection of proven therapeutic wisdom and modern innovation.
I believe that resilience is more than just a trait - it is an untapped wellspring of power, awaiting every individual discovery. I work collaboratively with my clients, transforming struggles into steppingstones towards fulfilment.
Thus, healing becomes more than a destination, rather an evolution- a journey towards harnessing the power within, and ultimately living life to its fullest. This is the reflected in the words of Camus, my lifelong motto: “In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.”

I am a Clinical Psychologist in private practice. My particular areas of interest lie in supporting individuals during challenging life transitions and with difficulties associated with depression, anxiety and workplace stress. I embrace a strength-based and person-centred therapeutic approach, whilst also aiming to integrate techniques from other psychological methodologies to support people on their unique journeys.
My focus in therapy is to help individuals harness their inner strengths,navigate challenges, and find resilience. By blending empathy and evidence-based practices, I strive to create a therapeutic environment that fosters mental well-being and growth. My aim is also to provide accessible information and training to assist people in their quest for healthier and more fulfilling lives.
I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology and during my studies I gained research experience in the realm of immigration.
